24 Affirmations To Commit To Faith Over Fear
It’s hard to believe that my sweet Maddy Moo is about to graduate. When this photo was taken, she was still a kid more or less about to head off to Cali to do great things -literally- like the cool stuff we see in movies haha Now, she’s an adult. Full of the same light, laughter, all the good vibes, and about to get her first taste of adulting for real for real.
Our family has always joked about how things magically come together for her, but even with the strongest track record of final hour miracles there are still times when we have to dig deep to trust that things are coming together for our good regardless of what it looks like on the outside.
We all pull inspiration from different places. One of my wells is this girl. At such a young age, she has an incredible ability to not only believe in the vision she has for her life, but she also has the clarity of saying this is the path I’m willing to test out to get there.
More often than not, fear has been the biggest factor that contributed to holding me back from diving into the fullness of the vision I have for my life. It’s so important to recognize when that is happening and shut it down.
Today’s affirmations are one part prayer request for Madison as she enters into this beautiful new season of building a life in California + it also serves as a reminder to me that we will always have times when we need to revisit this exercise. I’ve got at least 10 things that have come to mind just now worthy of a proper melty, and the key here is speaking life into the breakthroughs you’re believing for.

Lord I trust you with the vision I have for my life. Open my eyes, heart, and ears to see what you want me to see and hear what you want me to hear. Order my steps to live a life that is pleasing to you, and help me to utilize each and every gift you’ve blessed me with. I know how much you love me, and I choose to trust you every step of the way.
