#Plantlove: How To Care Of A Pilea Plant

IMG_9046.JPG

Now that I’ve got this guy home, I figured I’d spread the love and share some facts that I pulled from How to Not Kill Your House Plant on how to care for a #pilea plant. This is my first time having one, and I couldn’t be more excited, or determined, to give it its best chance at a long life 😋

Tips on how to not kill a Pilea aka #ChineseMoneyPlant:

-Water to keep the soil moist, but let it dry out a bit between waterings.

-Feed it every two weeks in the spring and summer.

-Mist and wipe down the leaves occasionally.

-Rotate so that the leaves grow evenly.

Simple enough, right 😅

Hope this was useful! Warren and I went to the Trader Joe’s in Philly and they didn’t have any, so for those of you who can relate, time stopped when I saw a full display of #pilea plants at the Trader Joe’s  in Brooklyn. I was so pumped.

After a year or so, the search is finally over ☺️ Next up? A #fiddleleaffig (those pricey jokers), #airplant, or maybe even a #monstera if I can find a variegated one 😋 Have a plant you’ve been longing to add to your collection? I love to hear about it. Feel free to drop it below. @jnladet thank you for the plug + @meaganelyce thank you for this book! You guys are the best ☺️💫🌱💕✨🌵 Xoxo -Chels
