Favorite Places + Spaces || At Home In My Brooklyn Airbnb
Hey guys!
After 6 months of loving on this New York apartment of mine, countless amazing guests, and airtight turnarounds, I couldn't be more excited to announce that I'm officially an Airbnb Superhost!
I moved into my two bedroom apartment torn between getting a roommate at some point and trying out Airbnb. To my surprise, my cozy abode in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bed-Stuy was booked back to back to back from the time I posted the very first listing.
We've (Warren and I haha He's a handyman/designer/shopping buddy All-American) poured a ton of love (and time, so much time) into this place, and it has been one of the best decisions I could have made.
I share this with you guys because I know so many creatives and entrepreneurs who feel the pinch of juggling work, their passion projects, and creative outlets with the very real pressure of bills, expenses, and other responsibilities.
Airbnb may not be the best fit for you, but for me, it has been a wonderful opportunity to meet the sweetest guests from all over the world and pour my creative side into a past time I've truly enjoyed.
My mom has our house back home filled with all these sweet little reminders of love and home and family, and now that I'm away from home, I realize how much I appreciate seeing those little tokens of encouragement from room to room.
This is my encouragement anytime I need to put things in perspective:
A house is made of bricks and beams. A home is made of hopes and dreams. Home is where love resides, memories are created, friends always belong, and laughter never ends. Your home is your sanctuary. Fill it with all the love, light, plants, and good vibes because home is where the heart is.
