Favorite Places + Spaces || Annex Hotel, Toronto

Hey guys!

Happy Sunday.

When I first started this site, my appreciation of style focused specifically on fashion. Since then it has grown to seamlessly flow back and forth from fashion to interiors. It’s one of the main areas my fiancé, Warren, and I enjoy sharing the most.

On a recent trip to Toronto, he called me all excited about this cool hotel he was staying at. Instead of a few days of house hopping, his friend Ash hooked him up with stylish accommodations at the self check-in boutique hotel, Annex Hotel.

(Thank God for friends who’ve got your back, right? Couch surfing has its charm, but the older we get the more we can’t help but deny that there’s no substitute for having a space and bed of your own haha)

Warren’s the sweetest, and had me in mind, so he and Ash linked up for a double dip to create some content for their lifestyle brand, Creavalle, and share the space with our travelers here on TheCoffeyBreak.com.

His main takeaways were that it was really minimalistic and cozy and a total inspiration for our future Airbnb spaces. He especially appreciated the on-site coffee shop and ease of check-in. There’s no doubt we’ll be making the trek back there together at some point.

Before we dive into the photo journal, here’s a little more background on the vision behind the Annex experience.

The Annex is more than a place to lay down and rest. We're a home away from home for those who want to experience real city life. We’ve collaborated with the neighbourhood’s best to make sure you get to live like a local. Don’t just sleep here–live here. And discover what hospitality was always meant to be.

Life at the Annex

Our rooms are as welcoming as our common spaces are lively. Whether you’re hungry, thirsty, sleepy, or on a deadline, the Annex feels like a home away from home (if your home happens to have ultra fast wifi, top-notch bedding, and a great cocktail list).
